Alaura loves the Little Einsteins, on one of the episodes Annie gets a new purple airplane the only way to get it to fly is to sing a note from low to high while raising your hands from the ground up. We were watching it a while ago and here's the video of Alaura...
We went to a Birthday Party at "Pump it up" last month and I forgot to post the pictures.

to answer your questions:
daphne says "mama/dada where are you?", "i got it!", "i did it!", "i'm gonna get you", "i don't know", "love you mama". they are short sentences, but they are still grammatically considered a sentence :-)
girls night out was/is lots of fun. we went to the mall and did a camera scavenger hunt. there are girls nights ALL the time. sometimes too many, but at least once a week. not to mention play group that is every wednesday at my friend erika's house. there is one this friday night, but i'm not going because i think i owe john a date with all the girls nights out i've been to. it's completely different here than it was in bakersfield. i think we all band together here since we are all law school wives who are from other places. it's really great though.
It looks like Alaura attempted to sing w/ Little Einsteins. She'll get there eventually. Kids are so cute and your girl is breathtaking!!
