Mommy it's cold outside!!!

The weather here has been in the 80's and even the 90's the past week!!!

But Yesterday it was a blustery 65 ;)...Alaura came up to me, "Mommy I'm cold put these on me!!!"

She's doing really really well with potty training. Well, she pees in the toilet 99% of the time!!! But she's scared to go poop in it. I'm just gonna let her wait 'till she feel comfortable. No reason to make this a horrible experience. She's very proud of her self though!!!!

In other news... We got a tent trailer!!! Eric's very excited about it!!! He's coming home early today so we can clean it up. I'll post some pics later. It's a 1994 Palomino Colt, it's a little small, but it'll be great for the three of us!!!

We're finally going to Disneyland!!!!

We're going this Monday and Tuesday!!! I'm so excited!!! And it's all Alaura talks about!!!!!

I don't even have to tell her to go to the bathroom sometimes...I walked into the bathroom a minute ago and this is what I saw!!! She went all by herself!!!

We got panties for Alaura on Monday night, and she wore them all day Tuesday and yesterday...with no accidents!!! I put a diaper on her at night and during naps, but she woke up dry from her last two naps. We need to wean her from her nightly cups of milk and water before we can expect her to make it through the night dry though. She used the potty at my parents house and at my friend Randisue's house!!! She's really doing well, I keep waiting for the catch though. It has to be harder than this!!! She did all the work!!!:)

She went pee 2 more times yesterday and has tried a few times today...We'll see if this continues :)

Yay for Alaura!!!

Yesterday while we were watching Conference, Alaura said that she needed to "go pee pee in the potty" so Eric told her to take off her diaper and go...She went into the bathroom took off her pants and diaper sat on the toilet and started pushing. She looked at me shocked and announced "I'm going pee pee!" The shock on her face was hilarious!!! We gave her a sucker and she called Mamma and Mimi and Papa and told them.
This morning Alaura told me she wanted another sucker and I told her that they're for when she goes potty in the toilet...a couple minutes later I saw her sitting on the toilet..."I go poo poo!" she said "I want a sucker!! She went poop in the toilet!!!! We'll see how it goes from here, but she's done this on her own because I wanted to wait until after we go to Disneyland...

My little Artist

Alaura loves to color!!! Usually she just scribbles all over the page it really doesn't matter what's on the page she just scribbles...until today. Eric was sitting with her while she was coloring and he brought this in to show me!!!

She colored the individual things!!!! It was pretty exciting!!

She just finished coloring this one too. (She colored the hair the right colors) Eric's putting her to bed so i thought I'd hurry and post these because they're so cute!!!

Last night we went to Marc and Tarins house (we had a lot of fun) for dinner. Around 8 Alaura started breaking out in hives...again. Poor little girl!!! She was itching soooo bad and we had to drive 15 min to get home to give her benadryl. I felt so bad for her. We gave it to her and it started going away after 15 min or so...then she started getting new hives on top of the ones she already had!!!! We waited for three hours and gave her another dose of benadryl. She slept for the rest of the night. This morning when she woke up at 8 she looked great!!! About 15 minutes later she had what looked like an ant bite on the arm then a few more until about 8:30 this is what she looked like!!!!

The pics don't really do it justice...but about 15 minutes after that it was ALL OVER I ran to the drug store to find something i could put on her topically. It took care of the itching, but she's still got hives all over!!! (they wont leave all the way) Last time we took her to Urgent care they told us to just give her benadryl and as long as it's not effecting her breathing it's ok...It's still unnerving because we can't figure out exactly what's causing it!!! We thought that it was her antibiotic shot then maybe her ibuprofen...She broke out this Tuesday and she hadn't had either of those...so last night we figured out that she'd had lemons both times she broke out this week but that didn't explain last month...so, after alot of thinking I think I may have figured it out...The Ibuprofen I gave her was new and it was red (usually I get the clear stuff)...on tuesday I gave her a red star burst at Camies house a few minutes before...and last night she drank a bit of pink lemonade...I'm not positive, but I think she may be allergic to red dye. I need to keep a diary of the foods she eats and figure out if the foods the reacted to all have the same dye in them. i feel so bad for her and I just wan to figure out what's causing it so we can prevent it...next time it could worse and that scares me!!!
