Well, i've never done a blog before, but it sounded like fun. So, here we go.
Alaura is getting so big. She's talking really well now. I'm just waiting for her to turn to me one day and start talking in full sentances. She loves watching Shrek right now which is pretty funny. She'll wake up from her nap and start yelling "Mama Shrek" over and over until I come get her and either distract her or turn on Shrek. Her favorite foods are anything with cheese. Macaroni is cheese noodles, pizza is cheesey pizza, basically if you tell her it has cheese she'll grab her bib and climb into her highchair and wait for her cheese something or other. About two weeks ago I was at the store with her and my Mom and little brother, and we were walking to the checkout, I had Alaura's hand in my right and Caiden's in my left and she was doing her "hang so mom will let go and i can make a run for it" thing. Then all of a sudden she started screaming and holding on to her arm. Well to make a long story short, we went to the Dr. and found out that she'd dislocated her elbow hanging there. I was so scared that they were going to think that I was beating her or something. But I guess that it's a pretty common injury for kids her age. Well, I'll go ahead and end there about her for now,
Eric is working at AT&T (Well, he's a contractor) with his Dad, as an assistant engineer. We're hoping that he'll get hired on as an engineer with the company soon. He's been working 6:00am -9:00pm mon - fri and 7:00 - 4:00 on saturdays. It's really long hours but the overtime will be great, and He really enjoys what he's doing so it's all good. He's starting 3 online classes at Bakersfield College in a couple weeks, so that'll be interesting. But over all he's doing well.
I'm still managing apartments, and i can't wait to get out of here. We're hoping to move soon. The area we're looking at will be near his parents house and only a 5 min from mine. So it'll be nice to be closer to family. Maybe we'll get some babysitting out of it LOL.
Well that's our lives in a nut shell.I'll right again when something more interesting happens.
