With life being as busy as it's been lately I completely forgot to write about some really cool things that happened. Last week Eric came home early because he was sick, he was trying to get Alaura to count to three by placing packing peanuts (Alaura calls them popcorn) into a box. If you say 1 she'll say 2,3. So Eric was going through this with her and she continued placing the peanuts in the box...4...5...6...7...8...9...11!!! Eric and I looked at each other "did you hear that?" He pulled out some more and she did it again!!! She doesn't do it very often now, but sometimes she'll play a game with me where I say 1 she'll say 2 and then we go back and forth up to 12.

This move happened really fast, but we're very glad to be here and settled in. I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends as well as having old friends over to hang out.

Well, we're officially moved into our new house and we love it!!!! (We're currently renting and waiting for the house prices to continue dropping then we're hoping to buy one.) It's so much bigger than our apartment, and yesterday I layed down during alaura's nap and watched a movie...all the way through with out tenants knocking on my door!!! It was great. While I wont be doing that very often, it was nice. We're almost 100% moved in I need to hang a few picture frames and some shelves then I'll post some pics.
Also, we're having Thanksgiving at our place this year!!! We'll have 14 people plus 2 kiddos!!!! It's gonna be so much fun. My fam and Eric's (except Amberly and John :( ) are all coming over...it's gonna be a full house. I'm excited to post pictures of it. I'm busy trying to figure out how we're going to fit everyone in, and how we're doing the food, decorations etc...Well,I gotta go. I'll do a better update soon.

It went from 39 to 25 in 6 days!!! I'm so excited.

You can't really tell from the picture but Eric was having such a hard time getting Alaura's PJ's on they wouldn't go over her head he was getting pretty frustrated.

I thought I got rid of all the candy in the house, however Alaura found some that i missed.

We went to Costco last night to kill some time and she found this huge stuffed dog. i stuck in the toy bin with it and she had a blast climbing around and jumping on it. She even had to dig through the toys to find her boot when it came off. We ran around playing tag and hide and seek too. It was sooo much fun!!!

Pirates, pumpkins and lots of candy

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. We did!!! Eric even drove home from Fresno to spend it with us. Camie came over and spent the evening with Alaura and me getting ready, making chili (really good chili) and putting together our costumes I think they turned out pretty cute unluckily I don't have any pic's of camie's costume I'll get some from her ASAP.

We had a very busy couple of weeks. As I said earlier Eric's been in Fresno the past two weeks for Aries training for work. Alaura and I drove up to see him last Tuesday and we went to Red lobster and used his food allowance to get a pretty tasty meal, then we went to Cobb ranch ( a pumpkin patch) and played on the swings, looked at all the different pumpkins, and fed the animals. There's a slide show with pictures from it. That night was horrible, we haven't had her our room with us since she was two weeks old, She is the noisiest sleeper ever!!! Needless to say Eric and I didn't get much sleep, and Alaura and i didn't go back this week. Eric went to his class and Alaura and I got ready and went to the Fresno zoo. She had so much fun. It was so empty it was great. Unluckily I broke my Digital camera when we were there. alaura wanted me to hold her to see the flamingos, so I sat the camera on her stroller. Then we started walking to the seals and the camera fell off the stroller and the batter cover popped off and I couldn't find the piece i needed to reattach it. So I HAD to buy a new camera. Bummer. I love my new camera. It's a Canon Powershot SD750. It's really small and it takes great pictures. We're going to invest in a Nikon D40 as soon as we can, but this one is great for keeping with me all the time.

We've done a lot of Halloween stuff though. We went to Eric's parent's ward Trunk or treat last Saturday, Alaura and I went to Fresno Tuesday, Wednesday we went to my parents Ward trunk or treat (I'll get pictures from them soon too)This Monday we went to a Halloween party some friends had. Camie and I dressed up as devils it was fun (once again I have to get the pics from my parents) Tuesday alaura Camie and I decorated a gingerbread haunted house and tried to carve a pumpkin I posted a slide show with pics from that too. Halloween we went trunk or treating again. So Alaura got good use out of her costume.
